Freelance Work
Below is a summary of the different freelance projects I’ve helped with over the past few years. Through these projects, I’ve been able to gain experience working in a more professional environment, as well as experience interacting with a variety of different individuals with varying knowledge and skillsets.
Betting Hero is an online sports media company that features tutorials, reviews, news and other info on the sports betting industry. Since mid-2021, I’ve helped them with a variety of different projects. They first contacted me about helping create a template for their sportsbook reviews, asking if I could make 3 separate mock-ups. After I created those, I then worked with one of their internal designers to help refine the design and make sure it could be implemented into the site. This meant working in WordPress and using the Divi Builder visual editor, as well as occasionally finagling with the code to make sure the site was fully responsive on mobile and web
After that was finished, the other major project they asked of me was to create web and mobile variations of their how-to videos. This again involved me using the Divi Builder visual and code editor to help create the webpage, as well as Premiere to grab high quality stills of the video. Along with these major projects, I’ve also helped create a few social media graphics when my schedule lined up.
While I can’t show a lot of my process due to the work containing confidential information about the company, you can still see my work on the site itself such as my sports book review templates or how-to webpages.

Jamma Lamb Studio Art
JL Studio Art was a business that helped customers take images of their dogs and turn them into painted items such as towels, frisbee’s and flags. I got in contact with the site owners through a friend who was struggling with trying to manage the website. Over the next year, I was then tasked with handling most of the technical aspects of the website, including custom user images, creating QR codes, editing the SEO, designing pop-up ads and email campaigns, managing Facebook marketplace and more.
Along with designing, I also frequently communicated with the site owners, making sure I fully understood what they wanted done and was available for whenever a new issue came up. Due to the difference in familiarity with web design between me and the owners, I also had to learn how to better describe what tasks needed to be done. For example, I couldn’t just say they needed better SEO, I needed to properly inform them on why good SEO is essential for a successful website.
Below is a PDF I created when first making the email marketing campaign as a way to make sure we were all on the same page. Unfortunately, the website is no longer available to show off some of the work I created.
